The filthy animal in this situation was my living room after the torrential downpour of wrapping paper….oh and the dog who I feel will permanently smell like that peanut butter fluffy can stuff that you squish into toys…she ate an entire jumbo sized can on Christmas day….#goodpetowners.
Normally on Christmas, ya know, you wake up, scurry downstairs, oogle at all the great things Santa brought, and then immediately dive right into the stockings and have chocolate reindeer poop candies for breakfast. With this being Luke’s first Christmas, my number one priority was SETTING UP THE TRIPOD AND THE CAMERA SO WE COULD DOCUMENT THE ENTIRE DAY VIA VIDEO AND PHOTO…I.HAVE.ISSUES….
Luke is one blessed little guy (only child and first grandkid on my side…live it up). His grandparents, uncles, aunts, (oh yea and us too), gave him so many great gifts that I am eating my words of “HE NEEDS TOYS”…his birthday is in 3 weeks, please…NO MORE TOYS :). PLEASE.
And ya know…even after all of these great fun new toys…the one thing he still wanted to play with?…that g.d. empty beer bottle…curse you Yeungling and your enticing green glassy color….curse you. Oh and the toilet…yesterday I found him playing IN the toilet…WINNING. I’ll give it to him that he was DUNKING one of his new toys IN the toilet so technically that is playing with his new toys….it’s a loose connection. Toys and hands met soap and water after that.
