Pinterest Review: Upside down pizza.

So, I try lotsa things. And thanks to the beauty of Pinterest…the world of recipes is at my finger tips. But, let’s be honest, I can also be lazy…really lazy. So, when putting together the meal list for this week…i wanted things I could make from the same ingredients for the most part…so I came across a recipe for “Upside Down Pizza”…When I told P this was what we were having for dinner he thought it was a joke from 30 rock or something…understandable as I consider myself to be a real life Liz Lemon…often. But nope, not this time. This was legit.

I guess it looks like an upside down pizza….kinda? It couldn’t have been easier. Brown Ground Beef, Add a jar Tomato Sauce. Top with Cheese. Top with refrigerator biscuits, bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. But…the lack of anything to hold the ground beef together was a bit off. Tasted just like eating spaghetti sauce without the pasta…which I do a lot so that part was good. But if you’re trying to impress someone with your culinary skills? Skip it.

It was a “Better Homes and Garden Best Casserole”, I had high hopes that weren’t really met. But if you want the taste of spaghetti sauce with some bread on top…go to town.

I made this a few weeks back. Kinda felt the same way (unimpressed) and got sick with the flu- with this as my last meal… so I will never eat this one again. 😉
