Theres been lotsa remakes and revivals of Gypsy, with most anyone whose anyone of the appropriate age taking on the role from Ethel Merman to Bette Midler to Bernadette Peters to Patty Lupone…it’s been done, but now Barabara Stresiand is getting the chance to be the ultimate stage mama….Please tell me this is true!! Granted its only a movie remake, but whatever, it’s still awesome.
