Dear metro riders,

I’m not sure where you got this piece of information that says “wearing headphones makes everything you do or say not audible by those around you”…that is completely wrong. For those who enjoy humming along to the songs blasting in your eyes, just because you can’t hear yourself…doesn’t mean we can’t hear you. Past two days i’ve been the unfortunate witness of one guy singing along to Bruce Springsteen and today, the sweet sound of Toto came out of the mouth of some Asian guy who was in his own little world. So let’s go back to the beginning: Headphones- are used so other people don’t have to hear what you are listening to…singing out loud defeats that purpose. Let the headphones do their job please.
